Neerdie Bowen Therapy works from the local clinic at Neerdie (east of Gympie) and services the local Cooloola Coast and Gympie communities.   Opportunities to travel farther afield can be arranged on a needs and numbers basis.  

Bowen Therapy assists in the treatment of acute and chronic injuries, stress, emotional distress, headaches, infertility, pregnancy and childhood conditions.   

The practice involves a gentle therapeutic treatment of a series of gentle moves on the skin or through light clothing, with the client seated or laying down.  There are pauses between moves to allow your body and nervous system to adjust to the moves and your body to pass into a relaxed state to enable it to repair itself.

A thorough assessment and history will commence your session, and depending on how your body repairs itself, effects can be felt immediately or within 5 days.  Drinking water, strengthening / stretching exercises, and home therapies may complete the process.  Further follow-up may be necessary with long term maintenance to assist chronic conditions.
